How do I make an Avatar in Figma?
There's a lot of free community plugins that you can use to create avatars in seconds - be they real people's faces, ai generated faces, icons or pattern generated avatars.
Here's a list with some of the most popular Avatar generator plugins I found and personally use for my own design projects. You can click on them and launch inside the editor:
This plugin generated real images but from either donated pictures or AI generated faces. You don't need to credit the authors and you have all the rights to use it however you wish.
This plugin uses stock images from unsplash and pexels. Although they are open source image sharing website I'd still manually check if you have all the rights to use them.
This is a cool plugin you can use to generated icons and patterned avatars. Also supports faces of real people.
This is another great plugin for making avatars in figma. It has a lot of filtering options - you can chose the gender, emotion, hair color, photo quality, etc. It's great and commercially free to use.
In short if you're looking to make Avatar images in Figma but don't want to manually search for stock pictures or icons you can use the free plugins I linked above. They're easy to run and really easy to use.
