How do I export from Figma to Sketch?

Both Figma and Sketch seem to be targeted towards web designers and they're really similar in features and functionality. Figma is way more popular than Sketch and in the near future I don't see it changing - except maybe if Adobe decides to make some really bad decisions.

Figma doesn't support exporting in any type of files except JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF or FIG.

The only alternative you have if you want to export from one software to another is to either use community made plugins which most of the times are not free or website convertors which also are usually not free. Fortunately most of them have freemium plans and trials - so you can at least test them to be sure they work properly.

Convertify is the first of the plugins tools which seems to be doing its job properly. You can easily convert from Figma to Sketch or Adobe or the other way around.

The free version lets you do 10 conversions after which you will have to buy the pro subscription. And they also seem to limit some features, but exporting Figma to Sketch seems to be working properly.

A second alternative is using magicul which is a convertor tool. You just paste your Figma URL and it lets you convert to a variety of other software almost instantly. It works great but unfortunately there's no free plan and it's relatively costly to use - so I suggest you use it only after you tried convertify to save some money.

Avocode seems to be a cheaper alternative which lets you do unlimited monthly conversions, but still it's not free to use. Other than that at the moment there doesn't seem  to be any other alternatives.

To summarize, if you're looking to export Figma to Sketch you can use a plugin called Convertify which has a trial period or websites such as magicul or avocode but they are not free to use and pretty costly
