How do I make an Iphone Mockup in Figma?

If you're an app designer using Figma you're probably looking for as many ways possible to make your design look great when it's put in front of the client. Ideally you're a great designer with years of experience but if you don't know how to add a phone mockup using the prototype tool I'm going to assume you're not quite there yet.

But don't worry, I'll show you how to do it, it's very simple:

How do I make an Iphone Mockup in Figma?

Follow this simple step by step video tutorial or check out the text steps below:

Step one you create a wireframe sized in the resolution your Iphone is going to be. There's different models so they'll come in different sizes.

Step two you design your app. Take your time, no pressure. Me, I just added a dotted line so that it's easy to see that the Iphone mockup scroll is actually working.

Step three you go to prototype -> toggle show prototype settings.

Step four: you chose your device which also has color options and other cool stuff such as background.

Step five you run the prototype to see if it's working properly. Step six you send it to your client and you thank me later.

Conclusion

In short, to get an Iphone mockup on top of your app design just go to prototype and toggle show prototype settings. The iphone should pop on top of your wireframe when you run the figma URL link or if you do it from within the app.
