How do I create a sitemap in Figma?
Follow the short video tutorial and check my example of a web sitemap. Below the youtube video there's a step by step instruction guide that can help you if you aren't able to watch it:
Step one: create a new FigJam file and open a Flowchart template
Step two: remove all the placeholder flows
Step three: make the shape a square and increase the font size for visibility
Step four: create the main page or landing page of your sitemap
Step five: create all the pages that link from the main page
Step six: create subpages and link them to the secondary page
Step seven: change colors of subpages and style the sitemap so that it looks nicer
Step eight: export the sitemap, I exported it as PDF but you can export it in other formats too
And you're done. You successfully designed a complete sitemap that's ready to be sent to the developer team or to the designer.
Conclusion
So, to summarise the post: Figma has a really easy to use tool called FigJam you can use to create wireframes and user flows. Just create a new template and start adding pages and connections that link each other. Once you're done just export the file and you're ready to go.
