Can You Change Element Colors in Canva?

Changing Text Color: Step 1: To change the color of a text element in Canva, simply select the text by clicking on it. Step 2: Once selected, you will notice a toolbar at the top of the screen. Look for the "Text color" option and click on it.
Step 3: A color palette will appear. You can either choose from the pre-defined colors or click on the "+" symbol to create a custom color. Step 4: After selecting your desired color, your text will instantly update with the new color.
Changing Shape Color: Step 1: To change the color of a shape element in Canva, select the shape by clicking on it. Step 2: Similar to changing text color, locate and click on the "Fill" option in the toolbar.
Step 3: The same color palette will appear where you can choose from pre-defined colors or create a custom one. Step 4: Once you have selected your desired color, your shape will be filled with that color.
Changing Image Color: Note: Changing image colors is only available for images with transparent backgrounds or PNG files in Canva Pro.
Step 1: To change the color of an image element, select it by clicking on it. Step 2: In the toolbar, locate and click on the "Filter" option.
Step 3: A variety of filters will be displayed. Scroll down to find the "Color" category and select it. Step 4: Here, you can experiment with different color filters to modify the appearance of your image.
Changing Background Color: Step 1: To change the background color of your design, click on the blank area outside of any element. Step 2: On the toolbar, you will find the "Background color" option.
Click on it. Step 3: The color palette will appear once again, allowing you to choose a new background color for your design.
Changing Element Group Color: Note: This feature is available in Canva Pro.
Step 1: To change the colors of multiple elements at once, hold down the Shift key and click on each element you want to group together. Step 2: With all selected elements, click on the "Group" button in the toolbar to group them as one unit. Step 3: Now, follow the steps mentioned above to change the color of this grouped element.
