But is the free version enough to get started?
The answer is yes – although the free version of Figma does have some limitations on the number of designs you can create and collaborate on (three total), there are no other restrictions on the free plan compared to the paid one.

Does the free Figma version have limitation?
However, the free version does limit the number of projects you can create. This means that if you’re planning on creating multiple designs for different projects, you may find yourself running out of room quickly.
Fortunately, you can always upgrade to a paid plan to unlock unlimited designs and other advanced features. Or you can save your designs on desktop and delete them from the cloud.
This pretty much lets you create as many projects as you want, the only problem is that they won't sync over the internet and the prototypes might not all work.
For those just starting out in the world of design, the free version of Figma is enough to get you started. It provides access to all the features you need to create stunning designs. And it's free!
