Is Balsamiq Better Than Figma?

Balsamiq is a web-based wireframing and mockup tool used by designers and developers to create prototypes for web, desktop, and mobile apps. It is designed to help quickly create the look and feel of the app before going into the actual development phase.

Is Balsamiq Better Than Figma?

Balsamiq lacks some of the features that Figma has, such as the ability to collaborate with other users in real-time. Additionally, Figma also provides more control over the design elements with additional styling options.

Balsamiq is designed to be a low fidelity prototyping tool while Figma was created to be a one-tool for everything. It does low fidelity and high fidelity design better and faster.  

This is going to be subjective, but in my opinion Figma is definitely better and the tool I would recommend if you're looking to get started with UI/UX or design in general.

Conclusion

Balsamiq is really a tool for wireframing and creating low fidelity prototypes while Figma covers all the aspects of web design while being a freemium product. 

In my opinion Figma is way better than Balsamiq and since it's free, you really have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
