How Much Is Figma Worth?

Figma was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field, Evan Wallace and John Schmitz. Initially the company was a mobile app development start-up, but in 2013 the trio shifted their focus to web-based design tools. After several rounds of funding, the Figma platform was officially launched in 2016.

How Much Is Figma Worth?

In 2022, Adobe signed an agreement to buy Figma for approximately $20 billion. As of 2023, the deal is still ongoing, but if it goes through, we can assume that Figma is worth at least that.

So far Figma had 7 rounds of funding and raised a total of $333 millions from 32 investors. It's being used by over 50,000 companies all over the world and over 5 million designers.

It's considered the industry standard for web design prototyping and UI/UX in general.

Conclusion

Figma has come a long way since its launch in 2016, and it looks like it's only going to keep getting bigger. With Adobe's $20 billion acquisition offer on the table, there's no telling what the future holds for this innovative design platform. But one thing is for sure - Figma has firmly established itself as a major player in the design world.
