In the rainbow wheel pick two colors for an ombre effect or select one color and slide up the opacity bar for a darker or lighter shade of the selected color.

The next step is to adjust the size of the element to fit your design needs. You can make it larger or smaller by dragging and dropping the corner handles so that it covers the entire canvas area.

After you have the desired size and color combination, right click on the element to bring up its advanced settings.
