Can You Manipulate Shapes in Canva?

Shape layers kept getting improved over time in Canva. Initially there was really no customization but slowly over time the developers have started to implement tools for making adjustments. 

Can You Manipulate Shapes in Canva?

Yes you can to some extent. You can add different types of borders, border weights and you can even adjust border radiuses to your shape. 

What you cannot do is add new points to your shape, like you would be able to do in Figma or Photoshop.

You're pretty much stuck with the default shapes you find in Canva, which I mean there are a few to chose from but it's nothing customizable and most are standard shapes. 

You could of course just try to combine multiple shapes and create a new one by grouping layers all-together, but it's probably going to take a bit of time and effort and the end result might not look that polished.

So yeah, there are minor settings you can make but other than that you're stuck with the default shapes.
