Can You Edit a JPEG in Canva?

A JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) file is a type of digital image file format commonly used for storing and sharing photographs and other complex images on the internet.

JPEG files use a lossy compression method, which means that some image quality may be lost during compression to reduce the file size.

Can You Edit a JPEG in Canva?

Canva works with vector layers. Which means you can change colors, adjust corners and do different things relatively easy.

But when it comes to raster images like JPEGs or PNGs it's important to know that you're a bit limited with what you can edit in Canva:

You can make adjustments to colors and brightness or you can use effects to remove backgrounds and add filters. Other than that you cannot really do complex edits like you would in a more complex software like Photoshop for example.

So to summarize, while you can edit JPEGs in Canva, you're a bit limited with what exactly you can edit and how.
