Can Photoshop Convert JPG to SVG?

Can Photoshop Convert JPG to SVG?

Yes - but not really. While you can export a JPG file as SVG it won't be a scallable vector file. It will be the same image just in a different file format. 

Another way to go at it is more time consuming but not impossible, I guess:

When 'converting' a JPG to an SVG, the user must manually trace the JPG in order to create a vector version of the image. This process is time-consuming and requires a certain level of expertise, so it's typically not recommended.

Photoshop also allows users to create SVGs from scratch. This is a much simpler process, as the user can simply draw or trace their own vector shapes and then save the file as an SVG. 

In conclusion, while Photoshop is capable of converting JPGs to SVGs, the process is not as simple as it may seem and if you're looking to convert automatically from one to another it will simply not scale. 

Tracing the actual image is, well.. not impossible but it requires a certain level of expertise and time, so it's usually not recommended for novice users.
