Can Figma Do CMYK?

Can Figma Do CMYK?

Figma is the go-to software for many beginner designers today. A lot of users who create printed graphics use it too.

Can Figma Do CMYK?

The short answer is no, Figma doesn't support the CMYK color profile. Now, this doesn't mean that you can't create professional designs in Figma, but it does mean that when you export your designs, the colors might not be quite the same as they were in Figma.

The reason for this is because Figma only supports the RGB color profile. In case you don't know, RGB stands for red, green, and blue. RGB is a digital color profile, and is used for screens and monitors.

On the other hand, CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. CMYK is an offset printing color profile and is used for print.

So, unfortunately, you'll need to use a different program if you want to use CMYK color profiles.

There are plenty of other programs out there that do support CMYK, so you'll still be able to get the exact results you're looking for.

There are probably Canva plugins you could use to convert the color profile but we've never really looked into it.. so.. maybe you could look into it.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while Figma can be a great tool for creatives, it can't do CMYK, at least not at the moment. So, if you're looking to create designs for print, you'll have to look elsewhere. But don't let that stop ya! There are plenty of great alternatives out there.
