8designers' ProductHunt Launch: Analytics and Earnings

Allright so, I submitted the site on producthunt on Saturday, 8 October 2022 at probably 1 AM CST.
It got featured and at the end of the day it finished on 5th place with 94 upvotes which is pretty average for a Saturday. Probably could have been better if it wasn't for the 3 people above me that were upvote botting their next big thing blockchain platform that's totally active and successful with comments and replies that are definitely from real people.

Anyway,

Over the next two weeks it brought in about 1.5k users on the website. Here's the analytics:

The tools are free to use so my only revenue was from the Adsense ads that were posted on the site.
In two weeks I've made a total of about 14 euro from 4k page views and 75 clicks:

That being said I'm probably going to quit my full time job and I've already started planning my early retirement.
I'll be taking a one month off to travel the world so I probably won't be checking my emails, please stop asking me to sell the site for millions of dollars.

I said it once and I'll say it again - no amount of money is going to be enough to make me sell my half-broken platform that used to average 8 daily users from countries with an average CPM of $0.43 and now it literally blew up to about 24 daily average users from literally all over the world, but still low tier regions.

I mean how else would you get 75 clicks and make $14?

So I'm excitedly waiting for the day I won't have to spend money out of my own pocket to cover for the shared hosting plan I pay to keep this thing running. Unfortunately that day wasn't the day I launched on producthunt.

And as always, remember to stay positive. Unless you're Charlie Sheen.
